Chetah Girl Eliminated From Dancing With The Stars

Last week there was a stunner on the elimination night. No one thought that the Chetah Girl would go home. That night it was a shocker because Cameron and Sobrina were in the bottom two. Many people were thinking Cameron is gone for sure, but all the sudden they said Sobrina. The judges were very amazed by how this had happened. That day they used the excuse that everyone would vote for her, so people didn’t need to vote for her. Whether or not this was true it was still horrible. The hosts said that sometimes a stunner is what an audience needs to get a wake up call. The next day she was inteviewed on “Good Morning America”, and she said she did do some things wrong. First off she admitted that she did not take judges input much from last time and she was told that overdoing it would possibly comeback dangerously. She thanked her partner, and now she is back home. I believe however that she was not voted off due to laziness, but because she did not do that good of a job. I am by no means saying she did a bad job, but she just had a bad week. Everyone does so  good that you can’t have a bad week ever. There are a few occasions where it can fly, but she didn’t get lucky enough to get one of those occasions. This week in support everyone wore a paw to honor her. Hopefully she is happy and doing okay.

User Limit, Domain, And Other Information

    Our website currently will have a user limit. We have to have a user limit unless we get more donations. We can have 35 users max until we get enough money for it. It will cost approximately $35 per year or we can buy $0.25 per day. If you would like to donate now would be a good time. All donations will go toward the website. If you do donate please donate by making a wordpress.com account (make sure it isn’t wordpress.org) and buy credits. The credits are the system for getting upgrades.

Our website will be getting a domain shortly. As I said before I guaranteed a domain at 100,000 hits. I will try to stick with it, but if we have only a little bit of activity and lots of hits, then it is very bad. We need you to do your part by posting comments. If I see this website more active, then there will be more incentive to get the domain. It will obviously cost money, so all donations will work.

Also in other news I am very glad. We are over 2000 site hits which is outstanding for the short period of time we have been here. I don’t know what I am doing right, but I will try to keep it up. In addition, I request that you try your hardest to invite friends to come and be active. Also I need you on your best behavior because I can’t be moderating your actions, mainly your comments, 24/7. I will start allowing a few others to be able to write posts too soon. To earn this right you must be active, follow rules, and have my trust.

Kids Addicted To Games

It seems everyday a larger number of kids are addicted to games. The games they are addicted for them are not bad in normal usage, but in large amounts they can be terrible. Studies show that WoW gets about 30-40% of the players on it addicted the first time. The game uses special techniques to make players want to play more and more. The addiction is harder to kill than quitting Crystal Meth. Many people believe that the game triggers a part of your game, and it almost “hypnotizes” you. WoW is not the only game that is addicting. Runescape is another addicting game and it is an MMORPG. It is very hard to quit, and I know this for a fact because I had to quit and it took about a year. I still have urges to come back and play it. All it takes for me is one day back and there is atleast a month for me to quit again. Blocking all the ports and websites will not stop these gamers. Some parents wonder what to do, but there is no one solution. Even taking their computer away will do no good, and it may cause depression. Kids can get combative if they do not get to play their game when they want to. Please leave thoughts about this.

Xbox 360 Online Player Behavior

Have you ever been insulted because you sounded young, were playing bad, or some other bad thing? Well, I used to have the same things happen to me on Xbox 360. Young players now-a-days do not get the same treatment from older players. Someone might be 14 with a little high of a voice for a 14 year old and be called “gay” or “sucky”. Also people are like “Everyone mute this noob with a high person!” These people are just very wrong and don’t need to play. They can simply mute the player they are annoyed by because usually the player isn’t doing it on purpose. It seems to many people, including me, that they enjoy this type of harassment. If you do this you are not only hurting your team if your on that persons team, but you truly do annoy others. Others are scared to do it because they think they will lose their reputation if they stick up for someone being bullied. For example in Halo 3 many times they will be extremely rude in the lobby. The ones that are rude usually put their team down the whole game with mean comments and actually end up doing pretty bad. It just really bothers me because they don’t understand we all don’t have perfect lives. They don’t even think that sometimes they have a bad game. It really makes me wonder “Did this spread because of them getting teased?” I think this might be the reason because they want others to have to feel the pain. So next time you see someone online getting insulted for no valid reason stand up for the victim. Please leave thoughts on how you feel when this happens to you or a friend.

Myspace Advertising Opinion

Myspace has been having a lot of advertising problems. They have taken many steps to stop it, but it is just to big to halt. The main way marketers advertise is by posting on their website. Usually they do this by hacking the person and posting a picture or ad. The hacker makes it easy because they usually have macros to do it for them, and it gets the word out to many people. One step Myspace has taken is allow a user to make people have to get their comment approved by the profile owner before it appears to other. This appears so far to be working out a lot better, however the advertisers still can advertise to these people. It happens to almost every account because they find ways to key log you for your password. Once they get your password there is no way to stop them. Facebook does not have this problem, and I am trying to figure out why. I believe it is probably because Myspace is easier to give viruses or that Myspace is older. Please express your thoughts on this topic.

Site Popularity Increase

Wowzers! Our site has jumped up increasing very quickly. We will have over 1000 hits in less than 2 days. That is amazing for being a 2 day old site. I am looking in on some upgrades to the site. FYI: These weren’t advertised by me, but by you fellow citizens. Thanks so much for helping this site grow and remember to keep advertising.

Facebook Age Limit

One topic I think is very interesting is the Facebook age limit. It is kind of weird saying that you have to be in high school, but there is age requirement. I know many people do not follow this rule because they find themselves as “cool” as high schoolers. I am not in high school, but I do have a Facebook. I believe that if you are mature and are 14 + you should be able to have a Facebook profile. I could be in 9th grade however I started a year late. Also Facebook has special exceptions like some kids can get in because they go to a certain church or organization. I understand why they have this, but who really would want to follow this rule. If it was you had to be in Middle School I would understand. I do know that then it would become a thing where Elementary Kids would get a Facebook. It just is a little awkward thing that I have thought about recently. Please leave some comments about your opinion.

Site Traffic Increase

Recently I have decided to increase site traffic. My goal is for about 10,000 hits by the end of this month. This site probably can reach it, but I need your help. I am advertising as much as possible being fair, but I need you to tell all your friends. Just tell them to check it out once. They might enjoy coming here occasionally. Even if they don’t they now know that this site isn’t for them. As we increase on members we will be needing more space. I will deal with getting more space once the time comes.  If you know any good sites to get members please tell me.

Runnng Low on Water in Georgia Issue

I believe that the water issues in Georgia have been dealt with awkwardly. A few months ago the water issue did not even make a tiny spot on the newspaper. They did not even think about it happening even though they knew that it was going to become huge. The state just didn’t even think about it, and they were thinking about other issues. It appalled my GA Studies class in the beginning of the year. We try to keep up to date with problems and current events. All along we knew what was going to happen. However, they are more concerned over some men having pants worn too baggy. I mean get a grip on yourself. They probably know they were fools now because many people were concerned and just now they are jumping in a great amount. We could have had more time to think of plans if they had brought the issue up. They knew that there was an issue over a year ago when they put watering restrictions. However, they put it aside and have been ignoring it or acting like it is a small thing. All the states around Georgia are practically fighting for water from the Chattahoochee. They are constantly trying to sue Cobb County, Georgia for taking too much water. However in Georgia many people are aware that we have many people near Cobb County and Atlanta. If you have a mass population then you need to be able to deal with it with more supplies. I feel that the State of Georgia was very inconsiderate. Now they have put a total water ban outside. Many Car Washes and other businesses are severely hurt because they have tried to make up, but it just isn’t enough. Also residents are very disappointed because they can’t water their grass. On the other side the State seems all like “Oooooh, well we said you can water for 30 days after you get landscape on that area.” Well, I was okay with that because we had aeration and seeding done greatly a few weeks ago. The company did a splendid job ripping a lot out. It has been a few weeks now and it looks amazing. However, about 5 days ago Georgia issued you must renew your passes and you can only use watering from landscaping 15 days every 6 months. That meant that we could not water as well as many other people. Now we have spent all this money and we have to stop watering. I know the water level is bad because I have a small Lake/Pond in my backyard and it is 5-10 feet down. It is very bad, but my question is are we really going to lose all our water. I mean knock some sense into yourself. I know this winter is supposed to be a dry and cold winter, but we won’t run out. They keep miscalculating how many days we will have drinking water. Recently, they noticed Lake Altoona had over 100 days more drinking water than what they thought. I mean this is a huge amount. I just believe that the water issue has gone absurd.

Saxophone Squeaking

Ever wondered why your saxophone is squeaking? Well, I have a little article that might help solve the problem. There are various reasons why you might squeak. However, first I better tell you about squeaking. If you don’t know many new players make a high pitched squeak noise. This is due to them doing something wrong like tonguing too hard. I have been playing for about 3 years, but would consider myself quite informed about the saxophone. I can’t say I am amazing, but I can say I can sight-read and know all my scales. Also, I love to play lyrical etudes and can play over 25 of them superbly. One of the main problems with new players is that they have bad mouth posture. They usually are too tight due to being nervous. If you are too tight then you will run into some serious problems. For example, you might stop the air flow between the reed. If you stop the air flow the reed will not be able to vibrate, therefor not giving you a sound. Another reason people squeak is because they tongue too hard. It takes lots of practice to tongue just right. Sometimes it will take about a month or so just to be able to stop squeaking when tonguing.

Now I have some ways to practice, so you get better and don’t squeak. First off, you should do tongue exercises. You need to try to sound as graceful and smooth as possible. Try saying ta-ta-ta over and over. Then try blowing into your instrument with your tongue doing the same movements when you say ta-ta-ta. If you are too tight, then try to relax. Take big breaths before you play and loosen up. Also you might need to bite up farther on your mouth piece or less. If you do this then in a few weeks you should have no problem.
